Seriously fast, seriously fun. A Dogma F for the gravel. Read more
Pinarello’s Grevil F is an evolution of the Italian brand’s popular gravel platform. Like its stablemate, the Dogma F, the Grevil now inherits the ‘F’ moniker, clearly indicating that Pinarello sees the Grevil as a fast gravel machine, not necessarily a multi-day backcountry explorer.
So what’s new? Thankfully, Pinarello didn’t throw out the core Grevil design but instead refocused it with a greater emphasis on aerodynamics, stiffness and a more gravel-first geometry. At the front end, there’s a new ‘Fork Flap’ that better stabilizes the flow of air and a Dogma-derived flat back profile that further reduces aerodynamic drag. All cables are integrated, which certainly makes things easier when loading up the bike with bags, should you wish to get lost for a while.
In the spirit of tweaking rather than chucking out, the Grevil’s geometry is now differentiated, which in plain English means whichever frame size you choose, rake and trail angles remain consistent. There’s also some fancy stuff happening at the rear. For example, the Grevil’s right seat and chain rotate downwards, keeping the rear triangles symmetrical with a uniform response to pedal strokes. And where the stays meet the seat tube, different connection points now absorb impacts from the rear wheel in a more uniform way.
Whether you’re already set on a certain make and model of frame, or still have some questions about how to go about your build, drop us a line and we can talk through your options. From the first detail to the final finish, we'll help you dial in the perfect set up for your next dream bike.
Ticking all the boxes for a proper gravel race bike, the Pinarello Grevil F is my go-to when racing for the win at the world’s most prestigious gravel events.
