Here is the latest Parlee build we completed at Above Category. Just delivered it to San Francisco this afternoon which is a little bittersweet as we loved having it hang around the shop. It does not get old looking at these builds, whatever the manufacturer! Dean shot a few photo's for us out back before we sent it off so that we could share it with all of you. Here is how it was built up...
Yes, light wheels, lite frame and fork and light group set, but low 13's is very impressive. This is a day in day out extremely durable build that is going to last a long time...
Stock Campagnolo Super Record brake set. No reason to mess around here as these are about as good as it gets in the stopping department. We did the single pivot brake in the rear, still don't see a need for the dual pivot option.
The 2011 Campagnolo levers are a huge improvement over the 2010 pieces. Not that the older ones were bad, but these are so crisp and precise. Good work there Campagnolo! White hoods and cable set round out the aesthetic on this bike.
For those of you who have followed us for a while you know we love all things Fizik. Their saddles are so well made and look great. There is pretty much a shape for everyone as well, so when it comes time to look for a new saddle, give Fizik a serious look. And if you have ridden one of their models and didn't like it, give another one a try as it could be perfect. This is the Arione CX Carbon model...
