At 1030 g for the set, it sits at the absolute edge of what’s possible for a disc brake wheelset while remaining UCI compliant. But the point isn’t just the number. It’s how that weight is achieved. Every element has been reduced to what is strictly necessary for performance.
The 30 mm rim profile is intentionally shallow. This is a wheel built for elevation, acceleration, and responsiveness over sustained speed. The 24 mm internal width keeps it aligned with modern road tires without pushing into all-road territory.
The Yokto hub system carries over here unchanged. Ultra-light, minimal, and precise, with a 40-point engagement freehub and ceramic bearing option. No adjustability, no overbuilding. Just tight tolerances and low drag.
The spoke system follows the same philosophy. Carbon-wrapped CX-Super spokes reduce rotational mass and increase stiffness, but with clear constraints. This is not a generalist wheelset. It’s a deliberate one.
Hooked rims keep the interface grounded. Full tire compatibility. No pressure limitations.
This is a climbing wheelset, but more than that, it’s a reduction exercise. Everything that doesn’t directly contribute to forward motion has been removed.
