We’ll admit it, we cheated a bit with this post. As you can tell by the group, the cockpit and the wheels, we did not build this Pegoretti in 2018. In fact, we didn’t even build it, though we wish we got to, if that counts for anything. This belongs to a friend of ours and we displayed it in our showroom for long enough to make it feel like it was ours. But mainly, we wanted to take as many opportunities to show off as many beautiful bikes that were built by the late, great, Dario Pegoretti. So, while we didn’t put this bike together this year, we feel that this is one of the most gorgeous bikes built ever, so now is a good time as ever to showcase it. It also begs the question, was this the era of the most stunning componentry or is it just us?
