You've been asking for it and we're here to deliver. Prepare yourself. On January 12, 2020, we'll be hosting the second annual OFFICIALLY SERIOUS BICYCLE RIDE in support of the MCBC. (Yeah, so we skipped a year, but who's counting anyway?)
You'd better stuff your bellies to the max over the holiday break—you'll want those fuel reserves stocked as we take on this 55 mile gravel extravaganza. This time around we've got a new route, exploring some of the most incredible zones Marin has to offer. There will be climbing. Quite a bit of it. But the views and hero dirt descents will make it all worth your while.
We'll be suffering, but with a purpose, as proceeds will be going to support the Marin County Bike Coalition's efforts to build more bike legal trails.
Don't have a gravel bike? Want to try out something new? Pinarello, Open, and Enve have you covered. We'll have a run of bikes and wheels available to demo for the ride, free to anyone registered for the ride. First come first serve, we'll update with available shortly.
Equator Sausalito will be keeping everyone warm with pre ride coffee and pastries. GU Energy will be on course with refuel stations along the way.
Stick around as we'll be throwing a big after party to christen our brand new AC United Club house. Waiting at the finish line, Paella Del Reyes have wood fire grilles blazing, serving up some delicious Spanish cuisine. Headlands Brewing will keep the drinks flowing and we'll be raffling off incredible prizes from Enve, Sram, Kask, Koo, WTB and more. Why? Because we're raising funds for the Marin County Bicycle Coalition's efforts in building new bike legal trails for us all.
