Bike(s) of the Week: A Series of Stunning Sartos

Derek Yarra |

The AC workshop has been churning out builds left and right, and we're getting to a point of having more stellar builds to share than there are weeks in the year. So for this week's feature, we've rounded up a few of our recent Sarto builds for a triple feature. Three different custom carbon models, all build by hand in Italy, with their own unique builds and vibes. Keep on scrolling to check them out!

An Ice Blue Lampo Plus

Sarto Lampo Plus ice blue

Kicking things off is this ice blue Lampo Plus, Sarto's flagship aero-road platform. Fully custom geometry meets fully personalized paint, you don't come across bikes like these too often! Blue and white graphics are complemented by the Italian flag, making for an especially sporty look. The build is made up of a Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain that's been fully kitted up with CeramicSpeed coated goodness. It rolls on a set of Lightweight Meilenstein Evo wheels with tan wall 30c Vittoria Corsas.

A Blue to Grey Gravel TA

Next up is a this killer Gravel TA. These are some of the most nimble and fast gravel bikes we've ever gotten out on, and they manage to clear some massive tires too! This one sports an integrated front end, the first one we've done on a Sarto gravel frame, and has a sweet grey and blue custom finish. The build is a mix of GRX and Dura-Ace Di2 bits with a Quarq power meter crank. It's also got a set of titanium CeramicSpeed pulley wheels to keep the driveline smooth as can be. For wheels, we custom built a set of Enve 3.4 AR rims to some light DT Swiss 180 hubs. Finishing it off are a set of René Herse Oracle Ridge tires.

A Black and Red Asola Disc

And the final build in this Sarto showcase? A sleek Asola Disc. This is their lightest road bike offering, and this is our first to feature the fully internal cabling. We kept this one lean and mean with just a matte clear coat over the bare carbon frame with classic racing red logos. It's built up with a Sram Red AXS drivetrain, also modified with a suite of CeramicSpeed bearings. Like the Lampo, this Asola is also rolling on a set of Lightweight Meilenstein Schwarcz wheels, but this time in the tubular variant. Glued up are a set of 30c Vittoria Corsa Controls.
