Description
The Bastion Superleggera might look closer than a kissing cousin to the brand’s Road model, but behind the paint, it differs in a couple of ways. Not only does the Superleggera have a smaller diameter downtube, but it also features a higher modulus carbon fibre construction - small details that shave some 100–150g off the weight when lined up alongside the Road and make an already sprightly frame even more lively. Indeed, Bastion recommends the Superleggera to the road cyclist seeking the lowest possible chassis weight and the liveliest ride within their range. And, of course, those attributes also make the Superleggera an excellent choice for climbers and those regularly riding on rougher roads.
