Unlike a typical road upper, knit gives in all the right places, leading to a far comfier, far lighter cycling shoe with far less chance of pressure points. Most notably, Q36.5's upper is made free of glue. And thanks to the brand's use of a 'multi-module' force structure woven within the knit, the shoe has plenty of stability and padding, too.

But it's not all about the upper, of course. Down below where the foot meets the floor, Q36.5 devised a keen fit in line with its body-mapping ethos that extends across all touchpoints, from feet to hands to seat. It's highly comfortable, sculpted in all the right ways, and feels exceptionally comfortable throughout even the longest day in the saddle. And to complete the underside, Q36.5 employs an aerospace-grade carbon fibre outsole to give all the stiff you could ever need when pushing for a new personal best.

At their core, the Q36.5 Clima Dottore shoes feature a unique last -footwear parlance for a mould. It's hand-shaped, with reassuringly firm heel retention and an instep that cradles the foot's natural contours, ensuring proper power transfer while minimizing fatigue.
