We're beyond fortunate to have access to such a vast dirt playground right out our door. The Marin Headlands.
Rolling out of the shop, you'll head south on the road, making your way toward the Golden Gate bridge. Just before you run out of land, you'll turn up Conzelman Road. Grunt through a mile long road climb up to the roundabout and through the dirt parking lot.
From here you'll drop into the first dirt descent of the day, Coastal Trail. A flowing single to double track trail, with sweeping corners and a few loose gravel sections. Pass through the gate at the bottom and continue on until the trial hits the road.
Cross Bunker Road and wiggle over the wooden bridge, and take a left on Rode Valley Trail until it splits. If you're feeling brave, you can roll down the stairs, otherwise take the bypass to the right and loop around to get to Miwok Trail. Settle in, it's a winding climb at mostly a mellow rate,
