Description
Amongst performance automobiles, there are certain vehicles that, while lacking in extra features and marketing panache, are pure driver's cars. We're thinking of vehicles like the Porsche Cayman, BMW E30, Datsun 280ZX and Toyota 86.
The Mosaic RT-2 is a road bicycle in that tradition, an essential titanium road bike with everything a rider needs and nothing one doesn't. Day-in, day-out, no-nonsense road riding is the RT-2's calling card. Straight-gauge 3/2.5 Ti comprises the totality of the precisely welded frame, an immensely durable setup that will last for decades. Hooded Paragon Machine Works dropouts at the rear hub are incredibly stiff, and the vaunted ENVE Road Disc fork steers the RT-2 precisely while damping road vibration.
Built in Boulder, Colorado, with a standard headtube, internal brake routing and discs, the RT-2's classic lines scratch our itch for that nostalgic yet practical, unadulterated road riding experience.
The Mosaic Batch-Built Program
The RT-2 is readily available as part of Mosaic’s Batch Built program. Pick a stock size, select a finish, and your Mosaic will ship within days, ready to build into your dream bike at Above Category. It’s worth noting that for an up-charge, all stock sizes can turn into custom geometry machines, which is an excellent route if you’d like something a little more tailored without stumping for the cost of an RT-1.
