We began talking with Scott about a Pegoretti in early April of 2022 as he was planning a trip that would take him through Italy in July, and he wanted to visit the Pegoretti shop, get fitted, and discuss the build he wanted - what frame, custom geometry, paint and so forth. He had reached out directly to Pegoretti, asking if he could visit and get fit, and, of course, they were happy to have him in the factory! Before his visit, we focused on the Round with Campagnolo Super Record EPS (Rim brake) and the excellent Bora WTO wheelset with the Conti GP 5000S TRs. Keeping it all Italian, the Deda Stem, handlebars and seat post, partnered with a Fizik saddle, make for a stellar ride.
Now, not everyone has the opportunity or the time to travel to do all the things Scott was able to do, but you can still get the fit, the bike, the build and the ride you want, even without the trip to Italy!
