BOTW: Mosaic RT-1 — Green with Champagne

Chad Nordwall |

We've been waiting to be able to get this particular custom Mosaic RT-1 up on our BOTW schedule. So much so that we even had the owner bring it back so we could shoot it properly. This one is dressed in a beautiful dark green with a hint of champagne poured on it.

The RT-1 is Mosaic’s top-of-the-line (hence the 1) frame set. It comes with an ENVE fork, seat post, and IN-Route stem.  It also comes with a headset and standard seat collar (we usually swap those out but didn't have any when this particular bike was built).  This is a pure road platform and as such works best with 28-32mm tires, though you can squeeze certain combinations of up to 35s if desired.

For the cockpit, we kept the ENVE kit and made those parts just a little nicer with some gold titanium.  On top of the seat post we added the locally designed Form GT saddle with titanium rails.  Attached to the stem is our favorite ENVE Aero handlebar.  We love it more for the shape than any aero benefits.

This Mosaic is built up with a SRAM Red group, fitted with all the gold titanium we could get on it and the power is in the pedals.  That’s about it—no extras needed. This bike is a stunner and we want to thank its owner for taking the time to bring it back to us so that we could share it with all of you!

Like always, if you want to have some fun and add a unique custom bike like this to your garage, give us a shout!
