Details
Assos didn’t just update their top-tier race bibs. They rebuilt them. The new Equipe RS S11 shorts drop weight, add cooling, and wrap the body with a level of compression that feels more like equipment than clothing.
The big change is the textile. Type.911 replaces the older 441 material and lets the entire pattern get re-cut with fewer seams and better stability. It’s more elastic, more supportive, and holds shape without relying on the old rollBar suspension. The shorts don’t hang from the straps anymore. They lock in place around you.
The insert gets the same treatment. The RS S11 top sheet is softer, more durable in the wash, and carries updated odor control. Airflow stays high, the micro-shock damping is still there, and the whole package remains low volume and race focused.
