Behold, the Prova Speciale. An absolutely stunning road bike, taking cues from the past, present and future of hand built frame design. Combining a mix of proven steel from Columbus and Reynolds, a handmade carbon fiber seat tube and state of the art 3D printed parts like the seat tube/seat stay cluster, seat mast, and rear brake mount section, this is a bike that will grab the attention of retro-grouches and tech nerds alike. The build, featuring the tried and true SRAM Red E-Tap WiFli group is paired with the Lightweight Wegweiser wheels is a perfect pairing for this bike from Melbourne.
We’ve got a lot more to say about Prova, and it’s founder, but we’ll save that for our official launch early in the new year. For now, we’ll leave you with these images of the first Speciale to make it’s way to Above Category. This particular bike will be on display in our showroom until mid-February at which time it’ll be making its way to its new owner in Mexico City. So if you are in town, come take a look in person, it’s worth it.
