2022 is here so let’s kick the party off right! Our first group ride of the year is on 1/23 and it’s gonna be a good one. We’re revisiting our 2020 OSBR course, so brace yourself for 50+ miles of challenging yet sensational Marin County dirt.
As per usual, we'll meet up at Sausalito Equator at 8am for coffee and snacks before rolling out at 8:30. From Sausalito we'll head north through the lower levels of Blithdale Ridge and South Marin Fire Road, before heading down with a quick descent into Ross, and then back into the Watershed dirt (very similar to our ride in November). Once we hit BoFax Road we'll head towards Pine Mt. and San Geronimo Ridge.
After navigating the technical ridge line, we'll enjoy the ripping descent down to Samuel P Taylor before tackling the brutal Shafter ascent. From there we'll roll south along the magical Bolinas ridge and then continue on the pavement down the iconic Seven Sisters and Panoramic highway. We'll pick up the dirt once more from Four Corners, taking Miwok and Coastal back into Tennessee Valley, before spinning it back to Sausalito on the bike path to complete the ride.

Want to roll with us but feeling like this route might be a little too ambitious for January? Get the short route here!
Be prepared for a big day on the bike with plenty of food and water and make sure you have the route downloaded to your device in case you get separated from the group. The route features a lot of big climbs and some rocky technical sections. Gravel bikes with high volume tires or MTBs are advised. The weather can be pretty unpredictable this time of year, so check the forecasts and be prepared with packable layers.
Stay safe and we'll see you then!
