This week we're featuring a Mosaic GT-2i 55 frame, kitted out with our own selected components. These batch-built frames have become a big seller for us: instead of waiting months for a hand-built titanium bike, you're looking at about three weeks. The 2-level frames start at $4,250 for a frame and fork, and differ from the 1-level in using non-butted, straight-gauge titanium tubing and a standard finish rather than custom paint. The ride itself is phenomenal. I'd put this up against any stock offering out there, regardless of material.
Why Mosaic? We've been deep in the titanium world for a long time, and there aren't many builders we'd put our name behind the way we do theirs. Every frame is built by hand in their Boulder, Colorado shop, and the batch builds go through the same team that builds their top-end custom frames. That's a level of attention that's hard to find anywhere else at this price point. Titanium already gives you a ride quality that's tough to match, and Mosaic executes it about as well as it gets done.
