This week we have the pleasure of presenting this stunning Prova Speciale finished in one of our favorite colors, Hockenheim Silver.

Saddle: Fizik Antares 00 finished by Busyman
Ceramic: Ceramicspeed coated bb, titanium coated standard size pulley wheels and hubset.
Cockpit: Black Inc bar, Extralite alloy stem and a custom Prova titanium seat mast topper.
Titanium: stem bolts, bottle cage bolts, brake pad retaining pins, brake caliper bolts and front derailleur mounting bolt.
Weight: 17 lbs (includes pedals, both bottle cages and computer)
Frameset
The Prova Speciale is the first model I saw from Mark back in the day when he had five bikes on his website, the same model that won us over and made us reach for the phone and work out a way to get his stunning bikes into our fold. It's a titanium frame with a hand-made (by Mark) carbon seat tube and a printed seat mast topper. The dropouts and top tube to seat stay cluster are also printed titanium and, in this case, finished to a high polish.
Drivetrain
We built this bike with a complete Campagnolo Super Record EPS disc group - 160 mm rotor in the front with a 140mm rotor out back. The pedals are the Garmin Ralley RS200 power meter system. The bottom bracket is from Ceramicspeed and is coated, as are the titanium pulleys and hub bearings. Finishing it off is the waxed chain.
Cockpit
Black inc bars held to the frame by an alloy Extralite stem and wrapped in custom-designed leather by Mick Peel of Busyman. Mick also re-covered the Fizik Antares 00 saddle.
Wheels
Lightweight Obermayer disc wheels with Continental GP5000 tires.
Details
This bike was super fun to build, and the subtle finish is gorgeous. The Hockenheim Silver paint with the hit of black and polished titanium caught a lot of attention from everyone who came through our doors while we were lucky enough to have it on display before shipping it off to its new home in Arkansas.
