What gives a bike a vibe? Is it a certain combination of parts, sweet wheels, a dose of titanium, the perfect saddle, a paint scheme? Whatever it is, like cool, grace and the ability not to care what people think, the magic is in the ether. So when we filmed our latest Build Watching video featuring a Mosaic GT-1 45, we didn't blink when the bike became known as 'The Peaceful Graveler'. It just is.
Names aside, it’s one sweet build. The Mosaic GT-1 45 is a variant of the Colorado brand’s GT-1 designed around 45mm tires. One special edition deserves another, so we gave the bike a set of AC custom wheels featuring Sapim CX-Ray J-Bend spokes, Chris King R45 ceramic hubs and Enve rims to double down on all that extra width. And from there, the rocket stayed hot, with titanium bolts throughout, a CeramicSpeed bottom bracket and OSPW cage, hydraulic SRAM Force eTap AXS, and an all-carbon Enve cockpit.
