The right stem can look and feel as though it was intended by the framebuilder to complete the bicycle. At least, that's how the Italian-made Extralite Hyperstem feels on my Pegoretti. Refined, machined aluminum in gloss black complements the frame's finish and geometry. Lightweight at 83g (for 110mm), the Hyperstem comes in 0°, ±6°, ±12°, and ±18°, making it one of the most versatile brands to help dial in the look and fit of your bike. The -12° gave me the riding position I wanted and delivered an athletic stance and knockout good looks. Though I've only used the stem on my road bike, it has handled plenty of jumps and bunny-hops over potholes and curbs.
Since it's rated for Enduro mountain biking, I would have no reservations about choosing a HyperStem for my next gravel build.
