Oh where to begin.
To be quite honest, this wasn’t an easy journal article to write. But alas, as alluded to in the title, the end of 2024 marked the end of my time racing professionally for Mosaic Cycles. I've enjoyed every moment spent racing, training, and adventuring atop their magical frames. I’ve enjoyed the countless hours spent obsessing over nitty gritty geometry details, frame design, and color concepts. It’s been a special partnership that has evolved into a friendship and a time in my life I will cherish forever.
When we first set out in 2021 and built this beautiful GT-1 45 for me to race Unbound Gravel, I don’t think any of us could have imagined where we would’ve ended up. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that some years later we would look back, having built so many beautiful bikes, and created so many special moments along the way. While it was always the goal to win ‘one of the big ones’ atop a trusty Mosaic titanium frame, I don’t think any of us would’ve believed it if you had told us that in 2024 we would secure the U.S. Gravel National Championship Title. It’s been a special journey and I wouldn't trade any of it for the world.
Aaron, Mark, and the rest of the team at Mosaic Cycles, thank you. These have been three incredible years and none of it would have been possible without your hard work, craft, and attention to detail. You worked weekends, put in crazy hours, and constantly answered my unique and sometimes ‘out there’ requests. You opened your homes to me as a guest and a friend and brought me deep inside of your business. It’s been an honor to represent the brand and all the talented people behind the brand. I wish you all the best and look forward to keeping in touch and sharing more rides in the years to come.
