Details
The new MILLE GT takes everything that worked in the previous generation and trims away the rest. The waist is cleaner and moves without friction. The insert breathes better. The main textile wraps the legs with more even compression. It’s still the bib short you reach for when you’re riding five days a week and need something that simply works.
Assos kept the X-frame suspension layout that stabilizes the shorts without squeezing your torso. They reduced seams and dropped a few grams in the process. The insert now gets the same increased ventilation found in the GTS and GTO models, with an extra 3 mm of cushioning for longer days. The top sheet is updated too, using the Sugar Blue material that resists odor and feels smooth against the skin.
It’s a thoughtful, incremental update. Nothing flashy. Just a better version of the bib short a lot of riders already depended on.
