DAY SIX: BRITISH RACING GREEN GETS DIRTYBaum Cycles, as a builder, is known primarily for their road bikes, and we're more than okay with that. Little known fact? They also build a stunning mountain bike, the Extensa. The singletrack-going sibling to the Corretto, every so often we get the chance to put one together - in classic Above Category style. Day Six of the Twelve Days of Breathtaking builds is just that, a British Racing Green Extensa that makes even the most tarmac-obsessed of us drool. Built in pure cross-country livery, it left us back in the summer - but it left such an indelible mark on us that we felt it needed to grace the Twelve Days.
One of our favorite suspension forks gets looks to kill - a paint-matched Rockshox RS-1 absorbs impacts up front with aplomb.
And finally, an ENVE flat bar with custom-painted stem and post round out the stunning build from Down Under.
