The AC Elite Team raced the Tour of The Gila in New Mexico last week. They were honored to share the road with Lance Armstrong, Levi Leipheimer and Chris Horner.
Each team member fought his own epic battle during the week. Ian got a flat and spent what seemed like an eternity dragging himself solo back to the pack - and made it - with a quick kudos by Johan Bruyneel along the way!
Kris found himself cresting a hill during stage 2 with a small group that included Lance, whom Kris says is absolutely intimidating to look at on a bike. Kris suddenly found himself leading the entire peloton at break-neck speed down the descent.
