Occasionally, maybe once or twice a year, we have an opportunity for you to walk out the Above Category doors with a great bike at a discounted price. With the new range of 2015 models coming in soon we are selling out 2014 floor models at a reduced price. All the bikes on this list are brand new and have never been ridden, not even around the block. This is not old technology and in fact the bikes we are showing here are the same as the new models coming in, just in the older colors and maybe a few component differences.
If you’ve stopped by the shop over the past six months or so, or if you are a reader of our Journal, you’ll know just how highly we think of Focus Bikes. There are very few stock bikes that are exceptional enough to meet Above Category’s highest standards…but these German engineered machines do so in spades. If you are lucky enough to fit one of our floor models, you can be the proud new owner of one of the best frames around tricked up with exceptional componentry and finishing kit. Intrigued? Read on…
Izalco Max AG2R Team Replica – Medium (54cm) – $6,800
The beautiful Izalco Max AG2R edition is the flagship of the Focus Bikes range. At just 13.3 pounds fully built and ready to ride, this bike has a true race pedigree taking the AG2R La Mondial team to overall team classification victory at this year’s Le Tour de France. We have just one of these exceptional machines left – it was Chad’s test bike (so you know how well it has been looked after) and you can see on his Strava profile, he has ridden it just over 500 miles.
