JP's Sarto was one of our favorite builds we've had a chance to be a part of. Not just because we connected on our mutual love for all things aviation, but also because he was just fun to work with.
When we started talking about the various builders and bikes we offer through AC, the Sarto Raso caught his eye. And after extending a couple of customer references and understanding his use case, it was time for take-off.
Perhaps the coolest part of this build is the paint and design. We used his plane as inspiration and sent the below pictures to Sarto where their in-house designer Erica came up with this masterpiece. I'm still waiting for JP to send me a picture of the bike in front of the plane but for now, the two look good enough alone.
Drivetrain: SRAM Red AXS E1 with CeramicSpeed OSPW, BB and CarbonTi Rotors.
Wheels: Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO C23 in 45mm depth wrapped in Conti's GP5000 STR in 30mm variant. The Raso can fit up to a 35mm tire but JP's slowly adjusting going bigger from 25mm's and 28mm's, one mm at a time!
Finishing Kit: we ordered JPs frameset with Sarto's Titanium BB shell and thru-axles for reliability and durability, and put a bow on it with our in-house Ti hardware kit.
