It's that time of year again: The time when many of our favorite people get together under one roof to dork out on tubing choices, welding technique, geometry nuances, tire clearances, beer styles, and have a good time: The North American Handmade Bicycle Show, also known as NAHBS, from February 26-28. "Naaabs" or "Knobs" colloquially. This year, as it so happens, NAHBS is (relatively) up the street from us in Sacramento, 1.5 hours from the front door of Above Category. And as it just so happens, one of our exquisite partner builders, Mosaic, out of Boulder, Colorado, is exhibiting at the show. An excuse for a ride or two? Of course!
Above Category has brought Mosaic Cycles' founder and head welder, Aaron Barcheck, to San Francisco for a pair of rides from our studio in Sausalito and from the Rapha Cycle Club in the City. Come ride, meet Aaron, and talk our ears off about our passion for what we consider the finest American-built bicycles. From performance road race machines to gravel bikes to hardtail mountain bikes, Mosaic covers all bases with their exquisite creations that Above Category steadfastly evangelize at every opportunity.
