The off-the-shelf cousin to Enve’s highly-rated Custom Road, built for speed, with a new monocoque construction and space for up to 35mm tires. Read more
It's fair to say there wouldn't be an Enve Melee without the Enve Custom Road. But while the Melee does take design cues from the US brand's Custom Road program, the new frame strikes out on its own, focusing on efficiency and speed over its stablemate's endless customization options.
Think of the Enve Melee as the US brand's off-the-shelf, high-end road frame. It comes in a monocoque design, with a choice of seven sizes and, most notably, five fork rakes to cater for the smallest to the tallest riders without exclusion.
The Melee builds upon ENVE's philosophy of Real-World Fast™ aero technologies. So you get a frame specifically tuned to complement Enve's SES™ wheel line, a smart move that extends to the frame's integrated front-end, too. According to Enve, the Melee rolls best on 27 to 32 mm tires, but it can also accept up to 35 mm tires, just like the Custom Road in its All-Road configuration.
