Fitted out with undulating Hyperfoil™ nodes that reduce both aerodynamic drag and side force, the 858 certainly does perform in the wind. And with an 18mm internal width optimized for running wider, tubeless tires, you’ll also get the added benefit of increased cornering grip and compliance with reduced rolling resistance at lower air pressures. Add in Zipp’s Cognition DB V2™ hub with AxialClutch V2™ technology, which reduces drag by disengaging the ratchet mechanism when coasting, and you can start to see why this thing rolls so well at any speed.
